Have you ever been on a tropical holiday and wanted to bring that relaxed vibe back with you? We have definitely felt that way, which is why we have created a relaxed tropical living room and dining room in-store, filled with plenty of inspiration on how to replicate the look at home.
The key to a tropical or plantation feel is to take inspiration from nature. We have incorporated green artificial foliage, green cushions and green, in artworks to bring the outside in. To work in some sandy-beach-tones, we have used natural timbers and hemp rugs, along with raffia and hessian cushions.
For the dining table, we have used our new bamboo and banana palm dinnerware, which looks stunning with the soon-to-arrive bamboo-handled cutlery. The artificial leaf placemats add a pop of colour and fit right in with the tropical look. We love how this setting has been topped off with our shell turtle.
Our polycarbonate glasses and jug have just arrived and feature palm trees etched into the outside. We know these are going to be a hit for outdoor parties, due to their durable material and that they are top-rack dishwasher safe!
We love the above chair! The back is hand-painted and looks like an original from an old master's painting.
