Online Returns & Refunds

We pride ourselves on our long-standing reputation of selling high quality products with a friendly service. At Alfresco Emporium, we stand by every product we sell and carefully inspect and pack every item that leaves our warehouse to ensure that we exceed your expectations. Should you not be satisfied with your purchase, then please follow the steps below.

 

Return of orders

We will replace or refund any item(s) which arrive at their destination damaged or faulty, however, we do not process refunds or make exchanges based on incorrect choice or change of mind. In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, we must be notified here within 72 hours of your parcel being signed for otherwise we will be unable to process your claim. Before the refund can be processed we will request images of the damage. Please note that original delivery charges are not refundable.

We may require that the damaged or faulty item(s) be returned to us for inspection, we will pay for the delivery cost. The item(s) must be returned in original condition (including its packaging) and an explanation given with a copy of the tax invoice before the refund can be processed. Item(s) must be returned to us within 30 days from date of delivery.

If your order contained glass or ceramic items, it is likely that we added complimentary insurance to your order. In this case, once we have received images to confirm the damage, we will advise you to take the item to your nearest Australia Post outlet so they can lodge an investigation. Once you confirm the item was taken to Australia Post by providing the investigation reference number we will dispatch replacement products.

Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card number. We do not offer store or online credits.

Our in-store returns policy may differ from the above. For information on our in-store policy please call our Collaroy store on (02) 9919 0601. Online orders can not be refunded in-store.

How to return your orders

Please provide a copy of your tax invoice, which is sent with your delivery, stating which item(s) you are returning and a brief explanation of any faults/reasons for its return. Use the shipping carrier most convenient for you, and send the package receiver to pay to the following address:

We recommend that you use a registered service and retain a certificate of posting for your own records. Alfresco Emporium takes no responsibility in the event of the item(s) failing to reach us. Alternatively, item(s) may be returned in person at one of our stores. We will make contact with you within 3 working days from receipt of your returned item(s).
