Shipping & Delivery
At Alfresco Emporium, we aim to deliver your purchase using the quickest and most economical way possible. Each order is reviewed individually and the destination, weight and size of items are all factored in when choosing the best carrier to deliver your parcel. Delivery charges are calculated per order using the tables below.
Where do we ship to?
We will ship to all Australian states and territories and selected overseas countries.
Please contact us if you would like to enquiry about shipping to other countries.
Shipping within Australia
We will ship anywhere within Australia. Our website now features a postage calculator in the shopping basket and provides you with an estimated cost of delivery which is determined on your postcode and the items in your basket.

Your actual cost of delivery is then confirmed after you have entered your delivery address during the checkout process and is added to your basket total and displayed in
step 4 – Reviewing your order.

Below is a guide for approximate delivery times to your region:

Sydney Metro & Suburbs 1 - 2 days Please note that delivery times are approximate from the day of dispatch of your order and some remote areas may experience longer delivery times according to the frequency that the delivery carrier visits your area.

Our normal Dispatch Time must also be added to the Delivery Times shown.
NSW / ACT 2 days
VIC / QLD / SA 2 - 4 days
TAS / WA / NT 4 - 6 days
We send parcels within Australia using the Couriers Please network and delivery will be attempted during normal business hours.

Occasionally we will use Registered Australia Post if you live in a region outside of the Couriers Please network or if delivery is to a Post Office Box.

A signature will be required upon delivery. If a signature can not be obtained then a Calling Card will be left in your mail box with instructions on how to collect your parcel or arrange re-delivery.

Undelivered parcels are normally only held by the delivery carrier for their maximum hold time - usually 48 hours with courier and 7 days with Australia Post. If your parcel is not collected or re-delivered by this time, it will usually be returned to us as unclaimed. In this event, we will contact you to investigate the reason and further freight charges may be payable to re-dispatch. Delivery charges for the original dispatch are not refundable.
Express Delivery
You may request for your order to be sent by Australia Post Express if you require urgent delivery. When ordering online, please include a comment in the Special Requests text box in Step 2: Delivery and Gift Options page of the checkout process.

Express Post is only available to certain areas of Australia and we will advise you if it is possible. You will also be advised if there is an additional delivery charge applicable to cover the higher postage costs.

Shipping outside Australia
Currently, we will ship orders to New Zealand, USA, Canada and the United Kingdom through our web site. Please contact us to request details about shipping to other countries.

IMPORTANT! We DO NOT calculate international delivery charges at the time of checkout on our web site. We will process your order without the delivery charge and then charge your credit card again upon dispatch of your order, once we have an accurate postage cost from Australia Post.

International postage varies greatly depending on the parcel weight or cubic weight and destination country. We can not accurately provide this cost online at time of purchase.

If you would like a quote for international delivery before you place an order, please do not hesitate to contact us with an exact list of items you wish to purchase.

Orders will be sent using Registered Air Mail or International Express Post (EPI) services with Australia Post.

If you decide to place an order with us for international delivery without obtaining a postage quote from us beforehand, then it will be accepted that you authorise Alfresco Emporium to automatically re-charge your credit card with the delivery costs as per Australia Post International postage charges.
Registered Air Mail
This service is ideal for smaller parcels weighing less than 2.0kg and requires a signature on delivery and provides proof of postage and delivery. Insurance is provided for all international deliveries and will be included in your quote.

Delivery times will vary between 3 – 10 days from dispatch of your order.
Express International Post (EPI)
This service is ideal for larger parcels weighing 2.0kg or more and offers priority handling, basic tracking where available and a signature on delivery. Insurance is provided for all international deliveries and will be included in your quote.

Delivery times will vary between 3 – 7 days from dispatch of your order.

Dispatch Times
Our standard dispatch time is 1–7 business days from receipt of your order, depending on product availability. Most orders are shipped on the same or next business day and only during weekday business hours.

Delivery status & tracking
You may enquire about the current status and delivery whereabouts of your order at any time after placing it. Please contact us with your order number (if applicable) to request details. All enquiries will be handled during weekday business hours.

Faulty, damaged and incorrect deliveries
We carefully pack all orders to ensure that your items arrive to you in the best of condition and avoid the risk of damaged goods whilst in transit.

In the event that your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect or there are missing items, you must notify our Online Customer Services within 48 hours of your parcel being signed for. Please contact us and have your order number ready (if applicable). We will give instructions on how to return damaged or faulty items and arrange immediate dispatch of any missing or incorrect items. All enquiries will be handled during weekday business hours.

Bridal and Gift Registry
When purchasing items from our Bridal and Gift Registry service, you will be given the option to have the items delivered directly to the Registrant(s) or to your own address. Most customers select to have their gift items delivered directly to the Registrant(s) on a preset date.

Alternatively, we can deliver to your selected delivery address. We will send using our standard delivery within Australia.

All items are gift wrapped before dispatch.
