Alfresco Emporium occasionally has vacant positions available within its stores and warehouses. To enquire about any current vacant positions or to submit a resume, please contact our Collaroy store on +612 9919 0601. Due to the high volume of resumes we receive via email please call first, resumes emailed to us without a prior phone call are unlikely to be accepted.
Gift wrapping is a FREE service available for some items online. When viewing the product page tick the box next to "Free gift wrapping", under the quantities, before adding it to the cart. If the page does not have a tick box then we do not offer gift wrapping for that product. All items purchased for a Bridal & Gift Registry are always delivered gift wrapped.

No, our web site does not always indicate when item stock levels are low or sold out. Generally, we always carry stock of all items on our web site. If we have knowingly run out-of-stock on an item, we will often remove or mark it as out of stock. If you would like to check if a selected item is available please email us or call +612 9919 0601. If you order an item that we later discover is out of stock we will notify you within 48 hours and offer you a refund or place the item on back order. If you would like to wait for the item to come back into stock then the second delivery charge will be at our cost.
If a product is marked as out of stock, enter your email address into the the "notify me" box on the product page and we will let you know when it arrives.
We will replace or refund any item(s) which arrive at their destination damaged or faulty, however, we do not process refunds based on incorrect choice. In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged, we must be notified here within 48 hours of your parcel being signed for. Before the refund can be processed, we will request images of the damage. Please note that original delivery charges are not refundable. We may require that the damaged or faulty item(s) be returned to us for inspection, we will pay for the delivery cost. The item(s) must be returned in original condition (including its packaging) and an explanation given with a copy of the tax invoice before the refund can be processed. Yes, gift vouchers are available from here. We sell two types of gift vouchers on our website; a voucher for online use only and a voucher for in-store use only. Online use vouchers will be emailed to the recipient and in-store use vouchers will be mailed to the recipient. We do not offer refunds on gift cards, so please choose carefully.
Yes, we do offer a layby service in-store only. Laybys are for 4 weeks with a 25% deposit. Laybys cancelled within 7 days incur a $10 fee and cancellations after this time forfeit 25% of the layby value. Laybys not collected after 4 weeks forfeit monies paid and goods are returned to stock.

Yes, we securely handle your credit card details. When paying online with your credit card, we employ Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology to securely capture your details and send on to our online payment gateway. Please do not send payment details to us by email. Email is not encrypted nor a secure means to transmit credit card information.
Yes, all our prices include Goods and Services Tax (GST) and are listed in Australian Dollars.
Our dispatch department is based in Sydney, Australia and we deliver to all Australian states and territories. We can also deliver to foreign countries. Please read our Delivery Policy for more information.
For deliveries within Australia we charge a flat rate of $14.95. For extremely bulky orders or remote locations there may be a surcharge, this is unusual, and you will be contacted for your approval before the items are sent. If you are unhappy with the additional charge we will refund your order.
For deliveries to overseas addresses, delivery charges will vary depending on the destination country, weight and size of the parcel. Please contact us to enquire or obtain a postage quote.

For delivery within Australia, we dispatch all orders via Australia Post using registered parcel post. If your order is urgent, you may request for your order to be sent by express Australia Post in the comments text-box provided during the checkout process.
