Delivery

Our online dispatch centre will be closed from 4:30pm Friday 23rd December and will reopen Tuesday 3rd January. Orders placed during this time will be posted on or after January 3rd.

Shipping within Australia

Our dispatch warehouse is based in Sydney, Australia and we deliver anywhere within Australia at a flat rate of only $14.95. For extremely bulky orders or remote locations there may be a surcharge, this is unusual, and you will be contacted for your approval of the additional cost before the items are sent. If you are unhappy with the additional charge we will refund your order.

Approximate Australia Post Delivery Times (not including in-house order processing)

Sydney Metro & Suburbs: 1–2 days
NSW / ACT: 2 days
VIC / QLD / SA: 2–4 days
TAS / WA / NT: 4–6 days

Please note that delivery times are approximate from the day of dispatch of your order and some remote areas may experience longer delivery times according to the frequency that the delivery carrier visits your area. Our normal dispatch time must also be added to the delivery times shown.

Regular Delivery

We send parcels within Australia using Registered Australia Post and delivery will be attempted during normal business hours. A signature will be required upon delivery. If a signature can not be obtained then a calling card will be left in your mail box with instructions on which Australia Post outlet your package can be collected from.

Express Delivery

If you require urgent delivery, you may request for your order to be sent via Australia Post Express. When ordering online, please write "express post" in the comments text box on checkout. You will be advised if there is an additional delivery charge applicable to cover the higher cost of postage.

 

Dispatch Times

Our standard dispatch time is 1–7 business days from receipt of your order, depending on product availability. Most orders are shipped within 1-2 business days and only during weekday business hours.

 

Delivery status & tracking

Customers are emailed a tracking code when their order is dispatched that can be entered into the Australia Post website. You may enquire about the current status and delivery whereabouts of your order at any time after placing your order. Please contact us with your order number (if applicable) to request details. All enquiries will be handled during weekday business hours.

 

Authority to leave

Please let us know in the comments section on checkout if you would like your parcel left on your property if you are not home. Alfresco Emporium takes no responsibility if your parcel goes missing from your property or is damaged as a result of leaving it in an unsafe location. Please specify a safe place to leave the parcel that is protected from passers by and the weather.

Bridal and Gift Registry

When purchasing items from our Bridal and Gift Registry service, you will be given the option to have the items delivered directly to the registrant(s) or to your own address. Most customers select to have their gift items delivered directly to the registrant(s) on a preset date. If you choose to send the gift to your own address, we will dispatch using our standard delivery within Australia. All items are gift wrapped before dispatch.

 

 

Shipping Overseas

We ship to over 25 countries world wide. You will not be charged for delivery when you checkout, instead, you will be contacted with a shipping quote before your order is dispatched. We do not add any administrative costs to international shipping in order to keep the costs to you as low as possible. Once you have approved the quote we will charge your credit card with the cost of delivery and then dispatch your order. International orders are sent using Australia Post and delivery times will vary between 3–10 days from dispatch of your order to major cities and metropolitan areas. Unfortunately we can not provide insurance for international orders. If an item arrives damaged, please send us images of the damage so we can refund the item. We only offer refunds for damaged international products, not replacements.
